Help / Common questions

FAQ.

Straight answers about accounts, protected downloads, licensing and the $10 monthly membership.

01

How does membership work?

Deadstock Audio membership is $10 USD per month. Active members can sign in, preview indexed sounds and download protected product archives from the website.

02

How do I sign in?

Use the email login on the account page. We send a secure one-time code to your email, so you do not need to remember a password.

03

Where are my downloads?

Open a product page while signed in with an active membership, then select the protected download button. Files download directly from Deadstock Audio.

04

Can I cancel?

Yes. Open your account and use the billing portal to cancel. Access normally continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

05

Are the sounds royalty-free?

Unless a product page says otherwise, your membership includes a royalty-free license to use the sounds in original music and other finished creative works. You may not redistribute the raw files.

06

Can I share a downloaded pack?

No. Membership access and downloaded source files are licensed to the account holder. Send collaborators rendered stems or your finished work instead of the original sound library.

07

Why does a preset pack use reference demos?

Some preset formats require a specific third-party instrument, such as Nexus, to produce sound. Reference demos confirm the player and creative direction, while the downloaded preset files produce their final sound inside the required instrument.

08

What if a file will not open?

Email deadstockaudioshop@gmail.com with the product name and your account email. We will verify the archive and help restore access.
